Is true. Is like my research here. Here my timetable is not fixed, I can come any time and go any time, work any time.. only results matter.. and that makes me more responsible. Having a lot of external rules could make a person less responsible. Responsibility, as you mentioned, should come from within.. Yet as always, calling rules as guidelines and using them can be helpful.

Buddhists here in Japan, those I have met, are not prohibited from eating meat or drinking alcohol.
