Five days - 3 days if you drop everything.Even if they had processed DNA from relatives of Obama ready , it would still take time to process the new DNA. And i keep asking what happened to the body of the son of Bin Laden that they took with them also?Given to the wild dogs in Afghanistan?

When Pasto and I were talking by phone on Sunday evening, Pasto observed (paraphrase): "No wonder Obama's been strutting this past week."

I repeat....When was Obama killed?

There is DNA testing and there is DNA testing. If you want the kind that tells you a criminal is not the guy you convicted, 3-5 days. If you want the kind that gives you a clue, a lot faster, but the blur factor is

Will,
I thought that a few days were needed for DNA testing. After all, a DNA test is not an EPT, all those CSI television shows, notwithstanding.

Don't get me wrong! I'm not at all implying that OBL isn't dead.

But I'm having trouble reconciling "buried according to Islamic tradition" if several days lapsed before he was dumped into the sea (in and of itself not Islamic, BTW).

Will,
Yeah, where is that son of OBL's? Was he buried somewhere or not?

Here we go.

If you need me, I'll be over at WTC bldg 7.

HE SHOULD HAVE RELEASED THE PIX.

He should have a Seal who was there
behind a screen telling his story, and answering questions.

This admin cannot measure up to anything

It's very sad

AOW .The president left the White House to play golf at 9:42 am, arriving at the Andrews Air Force Base course about 25 minutes later, according to the press pool report. He then ended his game after nine holes at 1:39 pm and made it back to the White House at 2:04 pm, about two hours before the attack on Bin Laden appears to have occurred.

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, the attack on Bin Laden’s compound north of Islamabad seems to have happened at about 1:10 am local time, which would be 4:10 pm Washington time.

According to Pakistan the son was taking with his father Osama Bin Laden on board of the helicopter to Afghanistan. But there are doubts if he (the son)was dead or wounded, since then nothing has been heard from him.

Well, at some point on Sunday night, I heard that the raid happened the week before. But, hell, all sorts of disinformation was flowing on Sunday night all over the news networks and the web.

Why the hell won't release the photo of a dead OBL?

And I agree with EPA that a Navy SEAL could be disguised and give an eyewitness account.

Ah, well, the Obama administration is screwing up everything -- including this story about OBL's death. A story which should be consistent and allow Americans to revel that we got the guy. Now, the conspiracy theories will proliferate -- thanks, again, to Obama. Pffft.

Clarification:

At some point on Sunday night, I heard that the raid happened the week before and that time was needed for definitive DNA results -- a story that made sense to me at the time.

Whatever.

At this point, I find that the Obama administration makes no sense at all -- on any level.

Done quite a lot of work with PCR machines (DNA amplification). The better ones give you results within 2-3 hours. I assume that the USN have some pretty good PCR machines.

Like Google Earth vs what the military can see. If civilians have DNA processing ability in 2-3 hrs (as Elliot explains) then you can bet the military can get iot faster.

He was killed Sunday the precise details of which will never be clear. One SEAL may see it one way another from a different vantage another way. In a firefight in a darkened house at night (this was no damn mansion) that they got the right man and lost none of their own is good enough. Was he hiding behind a woman or not? Was he reaching for a weapon or not? Was his son grabbed or killed or not?

Doesn't matter. That's all shit penny ante stuff.

The mission was kill or capture bin Laden.

Mission accomplished.

The fucker's dead. Maybe they'll let a SEAL speak or release the photo.

BUT DON'T LET THESE QUESTIONS DISTRACT US FROM EVERYTHING ELSE GOING ON.

WATCH THE OTHER HAND.

article link describes hour of attack. Like you Always, I too heard the attack took place a week earlier. Then I read another article where a resident in town described the event as he heard it when distracted from online discussion with contact in london. I think that was posted here on Monday or Tuesday.

I saw a news show way back when about a town full of people, maybe in Hawaii, where all the people got swapped for giant pods that turned them into zombies. That makes me want to see some dna test for that fucking Obama. I wonder if he is a real human or some space monster who broke out of a rotten squash. MY guess is the latter, and I suspect the dna tests will prove me right. So, don't expect to see them any time soon.
