only 40%?
I suppose if you count the entire population (including muslims) this number would reflect reality. . .but if you remove the muslim percentage of the population from the poll, one would think the percentage would soar above 60%.

Actually it is incredible that only 40% can see the obvious reality in front of their eyes.
In my opinion it is largely the result of atheism and relativism.
Without the widespread belief in those philosophies, this colonization by primitive savages would be impossible.

As Christians, we actually do need to tolerate other people's faiths. Christ died for our Freedom as much as He died for our Sins. By that I mean, God could have handled the problem of sin's entry into the world by wiping us out, or by making us automatons, but he chose to die for us, which means he believed in our existence, and in our Freedom.

See what I mean?

So, point is, how is a Christian, WHO DOESN'T REALLY THINK THAT MUCH, supposed to react to the excesses of another religion?

Christians believe they should tolerate others.

But, because we don't think enough, we allow things to go too far.

It would seem obvious that the fruits of Islam are demonic. There really, by way of comparison, is nothing much demonic about Buddhism.

So, there you go.

It's not the Christians themselves who usually do the fighting, but rather a society influenced by them.
Christ describes Christians as 'the salt of the earth'; that seasoning keeps society at large from decaying into what we now have. If the salt is neutralized by a predominance and errant and false philosophies, society will then rot.
Christianity doesn't tell men to fight, it just tells them what's true and righteous. It points out the obvious differences between good and evil with authority which is exactly what seems to be lacking in the Western mind.
