I cannot remember a single incident in the history of the United States in which a president, in office or former, ever bowed down to any monarch. Is this not one of the reasons why the U.S. fought the U.K. for Independence? The leader of the free world should show respect to foreign leaders, however, he should never perform such a gesture of servitude to anybody. The fact that he did this to the King of Saudi Arabia, the state that founded Wahhabism and is the prime exporter of maddrassas and terrorism makes it all the more despicable.
Bush posed with King Fahd holding the sword of Islam. And, that was outrageous, but at least Bush attempted to have a sense of humor about it. (The sense of humor, however, just made him look all the more stupid).
But, there is no irony here. Obama just believes this motherfucker of a "King" deserves a bow.
Is he an all out geek? Maybe he just can't do the appropriate thing? Clueless

All out geek? Nah, our 'not-yet-ready-for-prime-time resident narcissist, AKA POTUS has yet to make appointments to the protocol staff according this Newsweek article:
From Newsweek:
According to a person close to the situation, Obama hasn't yet appointed a chief of protocol and his staffers, still unpacking, didn't realize that the State Department has an entire office dedicated to foreign visits.
May as well invest in Alcoa Aluminum . . .there is a growing market for tin foil hats. ;p

Your outrage is reasonable Epa.

And, as MR pointed out in a post a few below this, he bowed to King Fahd, but he had the "audacity" to give Queen Elizabeth a man handshake.

I have what I think is a reasonable question
