Looks like that EU Times sources needs to be checked out as it may be less than reliable. Any other sources for this remark by Sarkozy?

There's nothing wrong with the basic analysis but as the EU article progresses the author starts drifting out of his lane into oncoming traffic...

RRA,
I haven't yet found any other sources.

Should that be a surprise?

Anyway, the story is all over the web now.

We'll see if any other sources turn up.

I checked out some other sources just by doing a search on Sarkozy Obama. Sarkozy is independently reported as calling Obama arrogant, naive, utterly immature, with policies comprised of "formulations empty of all content". Not quite "insane" but close enough. If they could confirm the term aliene that would get closer. Back in the late 19th-early 20th century psychiatrists were called "alienists" from that term.

All of it adds up to deluded socialist ideologue with only a tenuous connection to reality, or, this damfool lis liable to get us all killed!
