Yeah, I know, what a stupid thing to think about.

Anyway, this post seems almost the opposite of the message of much of IBA, but the point is, men like this man will be the one's who survive and rebuild civilization in a post-nuclear world. I know a few men like this, but I am most definately not such a man.

It's important that people know how to survive the likely disasters on the horizon. Even more important, people need to prepare for helping civilisation to re-emerge if the collapse of the world economy happens--due to nuclear war, nuclear winter, or just plain barbarism.

Pastorius, if more people were competent for their world in the way this man was competent for his, they wouldn't have to assume that nuclear weapons would proliferate to primitive nations like Iran, or that they would be used eventually.
