You wild and crazy travelin' family! I'd choose the non explosive plane too! Don't know where you'll be in Spain- but my sister Holly LOVED LOVED Barcelona.
You will love Spain! If you are driving down the freeway in the middle of nowhere and you see a sign for the Dali museum, pull over. It is worth it! Orange tree lined city streets are my favorite. And eat lots of Tapas!!

It's a good thing you're not obsessed about your packing, because the change in itinerary could mean everything in your bags would be wrong. At least that's my OCD life. I admire that "ease and flow" you have. Have a great trip.
Spain! Fun! My SIL wanted to go there this week (she's been in Norway for the summer), but couldn't find anyone to go with her. If I had only known, I would have gone with her! Maybe next summer! Enjoy your trip! The food should be marvelous, and the scenery!

If you didn't think we were totally crazy before, than you are not going to believe this.
We raced 3 hours north to hop a flight to Germany and then drive into Italy. When we got to New Jersey they had cancelled the Germany flight 20 minutes early because the plane was going to be carrying explosives.
We stood there with our luggage on the sidewalk and hear them announce another flight going to Europe.
And we got on. Our Entire trip has changed and we are in Spain!!!
