My growing seasons are opposite here in South FL. I will plant flowers after Labor Day and enjoy them until Mother's Day next year. My impatiens alwasy look nice for Christmas with all the decorations. It took me years to get used to the growning seasons here.
I do miss the arrival of spring flowers, which is one reason why I love to travel north in the spring.

Wow, that's such a great deal on those cone-shaped planters, especially with the flowers already in them. I haven't done any planting yet this year (which is highly unusual) and I'm not sure what to do. I have spent so much money on flowers the past couple of years and they didn't do well so now I'm feeling overwhelmed, poor and clueless. But I LOVE flowers. I need to figure something out before summer is over.

I love to take pictures of the various stages of growth in the yard though, I think it's great that you do this.

I love to take pictures of the garden, so in the midst of a gloomy winter I can remind myself that summer does in fact come...However, this year it is still cold and I'm waiting for it to be warm enough to go to the outdoor pool!

What a cheerful/colorful post for a Monday! Smile worthy for sure...

One of my favorite things to do is to walk through the local nursery shops --

That flower basket is something else...just delightful!

What a steal for the planted flower baskets!

Tomorrow I need to take some serious inventory of our garden. We've been away for a week and then leave again on Saturday and it needs some real tlc. We're crossing our fingers that our hydrangea blossom this year!
