You are so great to give up your evening to help me with my quilt, especially when you're not feeling 100%. I think even more than binding along side you, the conversation was fabulous!

I will definitely think of you (and by extension Mindy and her mom) when I thread my needles.

You are the best!

I love the binding, too! It's like putting a frame around the quilt, it looks so completely different and finished afterwards.

I love the remembering that goes along with it!

It's so great that you taught Anne to do this, and I really love it that she can think of you, who thinks of Mindy, who thinks of Trudy!

I know, Mindy has a fancy way tie a needle. I never got the hang of it. The quilt looks amazing! I keep trying to get Dave to bind for me (isn't it just like closing???) and he refuses!

I don't mind binding quilts, but I certainly don't love it. I still have this photocopy Mindy gave me on how to make your binding look like it is all one piece with no seams. She was so sweet to teach all of us how to quilt. I wish I did it more often, but I just don't anymore.

I loved learning how to quit from you Kristi! I think I ruined your trip to California because we spent so much time at JoAnn's Fabrics, but it is a memory I cherish for sure. You're the best!

I can't believe this is your favorite part of the quilt! I dislike binding very much, and have a trade with my Mom. She binds and I do all the quilting on the long-arm. Works out great, although maybe you could post a tutorial on the special knot tying way to bind.

Love Anne's fabric selection...

I don't mind the binding part..it's soothing to me like knitting because I can sit anywhere and do it. Although I tend to want to rush through it so my quilt can be finished.

How fun to have all those memories tied to quilting.
