Being around Valiant Youth is so energizing to me. They just get stronger and stronger, which is why they live now. The things they face every day are unimaginable to many who have gone before. Many times, they lift me much more than I lift them.
love the tree house - so cool. my favorite part of girl's camp was having my hair braided! it made me feel young. and what in the world? you swam in the potomac? yikes! you are a brave girl!

this brought an hilarious memory of swearing my brains out in the Mississippi River on a youth campout when my canoe tipped over and I was being bashed against rocks and I thought for sure I was going to get killed my water mocasins!
