Coraline. Full of creepy goodness. Warning though. I saw this in the theater and the 9(ish) year old girl who was sitting next to her dad ended up in his lap by the end of it.

Have you seen Forever Strong? It's based on a true story about rugby in AZ and UT. It was a good movie, based on an LDS coach but doesn't mention it and it isn't cheesy. At least we liked it. Probably not for the kids, has some teen drinking in the beginning. I think that's it though. Now I can't remember. Love your list, I want to see a few of those too.

Did you know that you can watch Netflix instantly on your computer? You wouldn't need to wait for some of these movies to arrive in your mailbox...just click on it on your computer and there it is. I love it!

"Coraline" is rather "dark" and may be quite scary for the little ones but recommended for adults.
My recommendations are for adults or older children - not little ones!
"Taking Chance" is a good Veteran's Day or Memorial Day movie.
"Facing the Giants"
"Fireproof"
"Not Easily Broken"
These 3 were made by a community of non-actors on a low budget. Very moral, uplifting movies without being "preachy".
"Arranged" Highly recommend!
"Tripletts of Bellville" Highly recommend (adult cartoon)
"Avalon" about an ethnic extended family and how lives'families changed once the suburbs and TV came into their lives.
Most Bollywood movies are a lot of fun!
Get that popcorn popping, ladies!

I LOVE my netflix!!

Right now my 15 almost 16 year old comes home everyday after school and watched (just one) episode of Lost.

I have 17 again- coming tomorrow- I love the old disneys but I see old yeller on your list... NO NO- that is a TEAR JERKER that I cannot see again! woo serious tear jerker.

Have your girls seen First Kid? we love that movie, but warning: the kid does moon the press early on- I don't think you want Sally jane doing that..? The rest of the movie is so fun & great & you get to see the inside of the white house- well, a copy I'm sure.

Also we love The Ghost & Mr. Chicken with Don Knotts- great for Halloween :)

we love the national treasure movies and I bet your kids do too because you have such a connection. When we went to see the Declaration of Independence (and waited almost an hour) it was REALLY eye opening to Carly that what you think you see is not always the way things are!

I do not recommend Coraline, I am so embarrassed I stayed and watched the whole thing with my kids, thinking it was going to get better. It is creepy and things in it that should of made it pg-13.
Just watched 17 again. Loved it! Although, may not be for the littles either, adult humor in it.
Have fun, you have got a great list!
