That's amazing! I just ran a half in March and I am itching to do it again. Seeing your pictures makes me feel restless, but running is about to get tough here in AZ because of the heat. Kristi, if you ever want to run a half, check out the canyonlands half marathon in Moab, Utah. It is absolutely gorgeous and you would not be dissapointed. I would love to meet you and you would be more than welcome to run with my sister and me. I think sign-ups for 2009 start in October 2008.

I'm Crying Like a Baby again. I love celebrating others successes. You give him a great big HIGH FIVE from Erin in Blackfoot, Idaho. I love the vision of Athletes. You are awesome!

Jeff, man, you ROCK!

Congratulations!!

Kristi--how great to run one with him and cheer him on with your girls (and his parents) for this one. Different perspectives of the race environment.
All of the pictures are FAB--especially the one of you watching him finish.

I love it...the photos especially speak volumes of symbolism of our life here on earth...the challenge it is...and then just to get to the finish, and be greeted by family. The picture of you and him hugging as well as the one of you crying is somewhat what it probably feel like after our sojourn here is over. Hope this comment isn't too weird...the photos are just beautiful and display such a range of emotion and triumph! Thanks for sharing!

I'm crying because of the picture of you crying!! I just did a marathon post today too. Must be in the air. Mine is still months away! You should come and run it with me...I'm serious. You live in the perfect area of the country to train for an early October marathon. It's a fast one too...it makes you feel good about yourself!

Owww, it looks a bit cold there! To RUN for so LONG in the COLD. Oww, oww, oww. Jeff is something else. How lovely that he had so much support from friends and family, and photos to log it all - and BEAT the MAYOR. Hahaha. That's a little bonus!

I hope he gets lots of rest and rewards now. Well done, Jeff!

Congratulations to Jeff! It's so great that there's a picture of you crying while watching him. I get very emotional at races no matter who is running because it's such a big accomplishment and because I wish I was one of the runners. That's super nice that Anne was there to cheer him on at mile 16!
