I didn't think that comment was cocky at all! It is the truth! Think of what you can do from where you are starting this new year! HUGE!

I seriously don't think you were being cocky...just excited you had a great run.

Although not every run is perfect..don't we all wish...at least you were with the most important people to you in the world eh?

Not to mention, you actually got out and ran! Kudos to you!

I don't think you were being cocky either, every day is different and shin splints sometimes have a delay with them. They're brutal, no wonder you're hurting!

How awesome that your running has become a family activity. I love it.

Running for me is a new experience every single day. Some days I can run for an hour non-stop, other days I can barely go 5 minutes. Some consistency would be nice!

I think I had shin splints for a few weeks or maybe something else, but my left shin hurt all the time, even when I wasn't running. I bought The Stick to help massage my muscles and lots of icing. I'm as good as new. So, basically what I'm saying is, massage it and ice it and you should be feeling better soon.

Guess what, I'm joining a running club. I'm so excited about it!!!

You get that skirt yet??

I don't think you were being cocky at all.. It was just a proud moment you wanted to share & there's nothing wrong with feeling good about something you've achieved....
I love your blog. You have so much insight & wisdom & have truly helped me with my own depression.
Knowing that there are others out there that face some of the same things, makes it a little easier...

Nope. Definitely not cocky. I loved your perspective of wondering where you could go this year, building on what you accomplished last year. It applies to everything, not just running!
