how fun for her! sounds like an eventful morning. kind of quiet with just one home. Riley started all-day first grade and the house is definitely quieter...kind of sad, but he loves school. emma starts back to preschool mwf on monday.
Such a cute story about Sally Jane. I loved the hair! Isn't it amazing how much personality such a little person can have. My almost 3 year old started preschool this week also. It's so fun to see her grow and become more independent. (PS. I finally have my own blog)
Caroline is a doll! Love that she wanted her hair in her own way and she picked out her dress! So sweet that she was thinking about Sally Jane. Of course mom and SJ will be just fine!
Now that's my Caroline! She is going to be just fine, and the kids are going to love her. I love that she wanted her hair in a certain way, and it turned out so cute. Caroline is definitely her own person and will light the world on fire, just like you did!
Such a funny little girl. She sounds like mine. Carter gets to go to his first day of preschool today, and I am sure he will growl, and be sweet, and run when he is supposed to sit too.
I love this story! And I am so glad that Caroline has a teacher who understands that running around and growling are just symptoms of excitement and maybe being a little bit overwhelmed. I'm sure it will be a good experience for everyone!

We've had the 3 ponytail days as well, and I just think it's cute how they like to experiment. Loved her dress-I wish they had it in size 8 though. How fun to feel so big!
What vivid colours! So cheery! I hope C thrives at school - I'm sure she will. And bless her concern for SJ. What a lucky teacher to have C in her class, with such a creative mummy and her fabby ideas for lots of trinkety little presents!!

There was a little girl names Caroline. She had a lot of energy and was very brave. Her mom calls her Crazy but other people think she is very smart. You always know how Caroline is feeling because she always lets you know. She will never know a life without her little sister and side kick Sally Jane by her side. One day in September she got to go to school for the first time. She was very excited and picked out her own dress. She told her mom how she wanted to wear her hair even though she has never cared about that before. She put a notebook in her backpack and two Polly Pockets in case she needed them. She was excited to go to school and was not scared. She did want to hold her mom's hand while they walked in though, which she rarely ever does. Caroline walked right into her classroom and sat down to play with playdough. She brought her teacher a plastic pineapple filled with gum and a big pink bow, she handed it to her and then ran to play. During story time Caroline ran around the room and didn't want to sit. She got out her Polly Pockets and notebook. It was hard for her to sit still. Her Mom thought she was crazy but her teacher thought she was excited. Sometimes Caroline growls at other kids and sometimes she is very sweet, her first day of school she did a little of both. Caroline is excited to go to school but will miss her Sally Jane, she even asked her if she was going to be OK. Sally Jane will be fine, Mom will be fine and Caroline will take lots of notes in her notebook and hopefully not do too much growling. [Image] The End!
