Yipeeeeee Kristi! Your details are great....right down to the wet wipes, missing screw and the honor of riding with the fallen soldiers.

Have a great time. I'm so glad you made it on the first flight over.

Oh how I wish I had a blog when we were in England! Then I might actually remember the details. This so great. It's like we are all traveling with you. The details are priceless. So glad the trip went well and you are having such a great time. Once again I am so envious of your abliity to talk to people. You are getting such an inside scoop. And eating ice scream for two weeks never hurt anybody!

Woohoo! I am so glad to hear that you guys got out on Sunday. I really did not want you to have to sleep in the airport! Yikes on the door blowing in, good thing it happened before the plane took off! I wish you could have taken photos of all those things, good thing you documented them.

That's awesome that you got a free year of smugmug too. Love it.

I was worried you would be not getting a flight out. When we flew standby it was so stressful. I am thrilled you guys ALL got on a plane. Have a fabulous time!

I'm alarmed by the details of the plane, seriously a missing screw and no running water? Yikes.

I still can't believe you guys are doing this, how wonderful!

What a fun adventure! When I was in 7th grade my dad took me to Hawaii on a military plane and I can still remember how loud it was! Thanks for sharing all the great times you are having!

Oh the joy of a once in a lifetime trip to the Alps. If anyone appreciates this opportunity, it is you, Kristi! The details you describe bring back memories when you traveled with your Nona to Hawaii at age 13. You had your Dad and I in stitches with all of your adventures.

Awesome!! I knew you must have made it since you hadn't posted!!

I looked at some of your pictures. So fun! If you can get up to Rothenburg you can probably find a nativity for under $200. I can't believe the weather at the top of the Zugspitze in July! Amazing! Have so much fun!

I enjoyed flipping through your smugmug. You seem to be in a great location if you can hit Germany, Austria, and Italy in just a few days! To me that's what makes Europe so interesting. So much diversity in such a small geographic area!

Love it, love it, love it. Too bad about not taking pictures inside, I have some of my brother and his family when they flew in the C5, they are just ginormous.

Glad you've all got there safe and sound. LOL at the whole rigmarole of flying via the military. The girls will have VERY fuzzy, weird memories of that flight when they're older - and will probably come to you for confirmation that it really happened, and that they didn't have some weird dream about sleeping on a rope or a man with a metal bag on his head!!
