I love this salad as much as you! I make it all the time, in fact I made it yesterday for dinner. I love to add maraschino cherries too it also, to add a little more color. I love that the recipe makes a lot so that we always have leftover salad. Yum! I'm thinking Frog Eyes for breakfast!

This is a summer favorite at our house!!!!

I could not get my girls to eat something with frog eye in the name so we renamed it "princess pillows" since it has so many marshmallows.

I do enjoy this salad. I hadn't had it until a couple of years ago at a potluck, and Marc said it was a comfort food from his childhood!

My mom has been making this salad for as long as I can remember. I love it but can never seem to get it quite right when I make it.

Glad to have this recipe!! Thanks. I will try it at our next potluck -- we have lots in our neighborhood, so I will use this recipe for sure. Is your air conditioning fixed yet?

I usually pass right over this salad but since I've been pregnant, I devour it when given the chance! Yummmm!

Milo loves this salad! He begs me to make it for every function. I like it too but feel I need to branch out with making other recipes. Plus it feeds an army so it has to be taken to a potluck or we eat on it forever!

Wow. I don't think I've tried this, and I've been taught how to cook from some serious Mormon cooks. The ingredient combo sounds a little scary, but I'll have to try it.

Thanks for visiting my blog- fun to see comments from you! I do remember now that you have spent a day with my in-laws. I remember seeing a picture of your youngest daughter that my dad-in-law had took while you were in DC I think it was.
In the free goodie bag my daughter got at the Barbie movie screening she got a cd with 3 of the movies songs on it that we have been enjoying! I think I will get the movie for her birthday which is in October.
I too like this frog eyed salad, but haven't had it in a long time nor ever made it, so thanks for the recipe!!!

It sounds familiar to me and probably tried it, but don't exactly remember when - or if I like it! Our family has a recipe for frog eyes salad though, but it's nothing like this one. Hope to try it soon - thanks for sharing :)

Kristi, I can't believe you never got my PINK CHRITMAS info! I remember emailing it right away! Anyway, I just emailed it again. Thanks for doing all this! I hope the check I mailed arrived - maybe I have just lost my mind!

I love this salad. My mom makes it all the time in the summer. Although I think she makes far too much, because a week later I'm a little sick of it. Maybe I need to learn portion control.

I have never even heard of it. It sounds and looks good (LOL :). I was reading your other posts about the long Sunday you had. I was feeling bad for you. I am glad that you did finish your job. What a very busy Sunday, wow.

I've never made this, but I had some at a potluck dinner the other night. I'm not keen on pineapple (gasp), but I like the frog eyes.
