Brugge!!!! i love it there. we did the whole germany/luxembourg/belgium/france roadtrip over a long weekend when k was 6 weeks old. awesome trip. exploding diaper on the side of the road and all. :)

6 days5 different hotels3 crazy little girlslots of treats on ice cream (bribes) 4 different countries (Germany, Luxemburg, Belgium and Netherlands) van Gogh, Vermeer (Girl in the Pearl Earring - oh my!) and RembrandtAnne Franks Diary - yes the actual diary - who knew it was a darling book covered in Red plaidemails from Harold and his wife checking in on us, we will meet them for dinner next week. yummy waffels and dark wonderful chocolatewhen you ask the girls their favorite part so far - playing at the park and hanging out at the apartment we rented in Amersterdam - kids![Image]We are off to France tomorrow to spend a week in Paris. (oh my did I just type that?- this is a dream) The girls can't wait while Jeff and I have died and gone to Heaven as we discovered Brugge, Belgium and could live here forever!

This is so exciting! I love it that you guys get to do this, and that we get to live vicariously through you.
I have seen the painting of The Girl With The Pearl Earring and was amazed by the beauty and size of it. All of Vermeers paintings are stunning to me.
I had no idea Anne Frank's diary was red plaid!
