What a great piece of advice to leave to his posterity. While we were in Idaho visiting Ben's grandparents, we were looking at a journal of his great-grandfather's (I believe) and one of the entries started out like this: "today I am mad!" It was all about how the seed potatoes were bad and the weather was horrible or something to that effect. I thought it was great that he had written that down. It certainly made me feel better about having bad days and being mad! :)

What a great journal entry, it's so cool that you have that. I'd like to see a picture of the framed quote just to see how you did it.

I didn't even know that it was grandparents' day until I saw it on the Today Show. How sad is that!

Beautiful quote and picture.

What a great quote, Kristi! I am such a fan of framing things like that. I have my favorite recipe from my grandma framed in my kitchen - her red velvet cake recipe in her beautiful handwriting. I think of her every time I see it, and it's nice to have a little reminder of her in a room I spend so much time in!
