Kristi - I didn't look at the swimsuits but I did have to click on the button to make a model your size. Good thing I laughed instead of cried! At least she is tan with smooth skin. (Which technically makes her not a good replica of a fat girl.)
yes amie, i forgot to mention the cool thing aboutlands end site is the cool thing of making a body type and then trying the clothes on the model before you buy them. it is kind of fun to do
Ooh! Thanks for the reminder. I've never bought a Lands End bathing suit, but I know my Mom has always loved Lands End quality. I'm definitely not in the market for a bathing suit this summer (vain, I know!), but next year I plan on buying a new one. I haven't had a cute suit in a long time!
Perfect. I was just thinking about needing a new suit, and Lands End is my favorite place too. I do have a funny story though -- I bought a L.E. suit for a cruise (in winter...no suits in stores) and six other ladies on the cruise had the same suit, same color...including a friend of ours who met up with us. We looked like twins!!!! I guess that just goes to prove a lot of gals love Lands End suits!!!!
I do love Land's End suits, and I also have found the long torso trick to be very effective. Thanks for telling us about the sale! And I didn't realize you could take them back to Sears -- you are just a wealth of good info!

Lands End!
I have had a few people ask me about where I get my swim suits. There is only one place in my book to get them, Lands End! They just put some of them on sale, which they rarely do. A few of my tricks! I order the tankin's in a long torso so that I don't have to have them hick up to my neck at the end of the day. I order a bunch of different ones to try on and then return them to Sears so I don't have to pay to have them returned. Sears may have the one are looking for at their store. The Faille matterial is awesome, it is thick and durable. Buy the mix and match ones give you options over time if you continue to buy from that same group. I order myself one a year. because I still think $80 for a swims suit is expensive, but I know every year my last year suit will look good as new. Check out their suits here! Swim Suit here.
