Kristi, just after I post a comment on one entry there is another to read. You are really whipping them out today. This is really a special post. Those children will never forget you or what you taught them. You are the kind of teacher that impacts other's lives. Parents all that need that kind of support.
Such an adorable gift. What a way to remember your class. It is true what your mom said about impacting others lives. I think that's what living is all about. You give someone something they can give themself.

I don't know how you managed to give them all such a wonderful gift when you were in the middle of moving. How did you get pictures of them all in front of the temple too? You're way out of control, but so creative and I love that you actually follow through with your ideas. I would have thought to do something, but it would have been on a smaller scale and at the last minute.
[Image]Primary. Today was a sad day. Our last day in our ward with people that we love! I was most sad about saying goodbye to my primary class. The above photo is a little treat that I gave to each of them. But what I was most excited about were the books that I made for them. I took photos of them a few weeks ago with their parents, in front of the temple, with me, their class, in front of the church building. I then put them in a little book along with my testimony and a summary of all the lessons we had learned this year. Every week we make a hand symbol to represent the lesson. Then at the beginning of each class we do them in order. It is so fun to watch the kids do them as fast as they can. It almost sounds like a song when they do it because they have memorized it so well. Here is a little slide show of the book.
