little trick- wear flat flip flops. You don't have to take them off. I always wear mine on the plane (and they are so small I can carry them in my bag w/o bulk) and change once I can sit down or just wear them to my destination.
Sorry to hear about the nightmare plane ride home. I'm so over worrying about how everyone else is doing on the flight. You try the best you can and hope everyone is as understanding as you are.
I'm so sorry to hear about all the crying on the flight. Even though you can't do anything about it, it's still hard when you're in a public place with all those trapped people. That totally stresses me out. I'm glad you're home safe and sound.
Flying is torturous no matter what, but flying with 3 kids should not have to be done. Having to take off your shoes through security is adding insult to injury. What a pain.

[Image]shoes! today we flew home. We are all so tired and exhausted! Why do they have you take off your shoes in the airport? who knows. the girls cried the whole plane ride home and cried all night before we left this morning. (we stayed at the Fords and can not beleive i didn't take a photo of them, it was so great to see them) I felt i needed to reimburse the other passengers for their trip. So it was a long day, but a great trip. we wouldn't do a thing different!
