I've been checking to see if you were going to be able to post while on your trip, so I'm very happy to see that you are. The plane photos are cute, and your tradition of rubbing the plane is yet another cute thing to do.
You've gotta love the DVD player while traveling! When we flew to CA earlier this month we watched an Elmo episode 3 times, but avoided meltdowns. Evie won't wear the headphones, so I have to hear "Elmo loves you", preferable to a tantrum!
I'm so glad the trip went well. You never know how that's going to turn out! You truly are the queen of traditions. I love it.

Airline fun. today we left for tour of Utah. The airline ride was great. i love direct flights. Our airline tradition is that before we get on the plane we each give the plane a good rub with our hand to wish it luck. (i made this up when AK was little, and I can't believe I am going to admit this, but wanted to have something that when my girls ever left me and got on a plane would remember me with a fun tradition) I am all about tradition! the above photo is Caroline giving the plane the good flying rub and the reason why the flight was so great. Mini DVD player!
