That book is the best idea! Such great neighbors! The people who bought your house have BIG shoes to fill! Your new neighbors in MD have no idea what a great treasure they are about to get!
Well if it is any new comfort..."I lived in MD when I was a little girl...I remember it was beautiful. We lived in Chevy Chase and that is all I know...since I have not returned in more than 20 years! I think I am overdue for a visit. I know there will be wonderful people there too!
What a nice group of neighbors you have! Your family must be like rock stars in the neighborhood, and how sweet to have them take the time to make such a thoughtful book for you guys. Very cool.

[Image]GoodBye tonight after Karate we had dinner with our neighbors. We of course were late and Jeff was on call so he was outside talking on the phone. I ran into their house letting them know Jeff would be in, in a minute. Once Jeff came in all of our neighbors came jumping out on the balcony yelling "Surprise" Our street had gotten together to throw us a going away party. They made us this incredible book. take a peek. They took photos of everyone, their homes, our grocery store, school, parks etc. and had it bound it a book. It is a precious gift. I of course was crying like a baby. It was an incredible night. We are going to miss these families so much. They have helped raise our girls, save them from getting run over by many a car, find Caroline when she is lost, provided sugar, flour, syrup, oatmeal, vanilla, when we are out, fixed our lawn mower, watered our flowers, watched our kids, taught our kids many a skill, fix our water heater, loan us tools and ladders, feed us when we have babies, give us baby showers, come to our church with us, fix our car and oh so much more. We will miss the "Glastonbury Gang" photos of the party
