Last night when I read your poem I was so excited to try my own that I didn't comment on how beautiful yours is. I love the descriptions of New Mexico, and the whole concept really. You did a great job, and I kept thinking "wow, she wrote this?!"

This is so cool. Such a poetic way of finding out more about a person. I'm going to check into it when I have more time.

I love it. I did mine, but it was really hard. You are a better writer than me.

WHERE I'M FROM from my cousin Elisa.

I am from the Honda Hills, from Honey Nut Cheerios and popcorn on Saturday
nights.

I am from the a home of Danish blue and yellow brick, mowed green lawns, and
roses.

I am from the sagebrush, segolily and the sunflower

I am from cabin Christmas's and fireworks, from Gerold Dean, Edna Marie,
Wyoming Housten's and Rasmussen's.

I am from the stong opinions loudly spoken and funny stories told through
belly laughs and tears.

From "begars cant be choosers" and "nice girls wear slips".

I am from obedince to latter-day Prophets and simple faith. From optimistic
views of life, and enthusiasum for life with my family in eternity.

I'm from Scandinavia, Scotland, and England, Ebelskivers, homemade pickles,
and carmel popcorn.

From the beauty of Emery County who could beat the men at cards and, a sweet
and proper woman of "pioneer stock" who loved books and writing.

I am from Willa Cather, agget, jade, and topaz, garden fresh broccoli with
worms, and state fair winning quilts

Reading your cousin's poem reminds me that my mom always says, "nice girls don't say suck."

I always seem to have problems with your site, although maybe it's me, your poem was miniscule and therefore unreadable, but I did love your cousins poem and jill's comment about "suck", mom would always say "people don't suck vacuum cleaners do". I need to work on my poem.
