Oh how I remember Field Day in elementary school in Texas. Soooo much fun. My mom was one that would always volunteer and be there and I know that made them even better. I bet I still have ribbons from all the different events we would compete in. Ahhh the memories- haven't thought of them in a loooong time. Thanks!
How fun! I remember running those in elementary and getting so excited as well. Thats funny about Jeff. I wish our school did fun races. We just had silly ones at our kids school. great photo and so cute!

[Image] fiEld dAy. Today was annie kates field day. She was excited because she made it to the finals of the 50 yard dash (this is the only competitive event of the day) AK is the one in the light blue shirt. She got second place. The girl in the green her good friend, Siarra, got first. It was a close race and I think annie kate found she has a little competive spirit in her. When I called Jeff in the OR he only had a minute to talk but was asking me questions like, "What was her time?, did they run heats? etc. it was so funny now i know where she gets it from. He was so excited for her. Way to go Annie kate We love you!

I loved field day when I was a kid. How fun for Annie Kate to get to do that and to come in 2nd with her good friend.
