Congratulations! That's awesome that you finished it. It's a big deal, because if you don't like reading then it isn't the luxury for you that it is for those of us who do love it. Did you mark the book or write down certain quotes you liked or what? I really like the quote you posted from the book. What else did you take away from it?

Your next selection looks great too.

I love biographies! I will have to get this one. A couple of years ago I read a bunch of bios of the prophets but now I should go on and look into the apostles. Thanks for sharing.

kudos Kristi B. I'm so proud of you. I'm so glad you found the time. Your next book is the one Jeff bought me, and I haven't read it yet. It was such a sweet gift. But I will also start it tonight. Then we can share how we like it. All I have been reading since January is the Old Testament, and I spend a lot of time studying the footnotes. It's a real bear, but I have the SS manuels on a CD to help. Here's to Good Reading!!

Congratulations. I do a ton of reading but I almost never read LDS books. I think it has something to do with being an English major at BYU. All of the Professors look down on LDS fiction. I would love to read some of the biographies out there of the General Authorities. Thanks for the good recommendation. Also I'g gmald to see you're reading Widow of the South. I really enjoyed it. I talked with a girl in my ward book club who lived in the South for a time, who got really into Southern literature. She liked it too. Good luck with your further reading. I can't wait to hear more.

Congratulations, Kristi! I'm so excited for you. And how fun that you and your mom can read the same book next and share your thoughts. I just realized that I have read a lot of Southern fiction and really enjoyed it. Maybe you would, too! I'll have to compile a list for you.
