Rabbi Haskel Lookstein of Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun in New York would never have made the mistake of wearing a cross, certainly not in shul. If one desires to convert to Christianity or Islam, a mosque or a church will welcome the potential convert with open arms.
But if you desire to convert to Judaism, forget it, unless you're already a Jew. They don't want us GOY polluting their temples, because beasts of burden are kept outside.
