Here in Missouri, the Conservation Department wanted to install meters on deep wells connected to aquifers to measure how much water was being used.
People saw thru that and raised hell, because they knew that the meters would be used to charge people for the water used.
They backed off, but it looks like the Feds will now complete the task.

downloadSenate Bill 787 will change federal jurisdiction over "navigable" water, to give the federal government control over all water everywhere, in municiple reservoirs, and on private lands, and in private wells. This bill ignores state water law authority and the Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
zookite feingold wants you to die of starvation, commie style. liquid gold, so why not steal it all, since it will probably be used for future power generation technology.
perhaps they would sieze it, then sell it back to us chlorinated & fluoridated through a water meter and in bottles.
