in the end Allah will punish and reward accordinaly. ive complete confindence in that. that said, i dont watch ther advertising, care about pop culture, participate in usury or care if i have latest products. short time here my life is simple. this privatized and monopolized monetary system + corrupted tax system built around it is haram , big time. due to that it doesnt need an over haul, but instead a different halal system of trade commerce would need to be established, where everyone could benifit, as this wont involve usury or perhaps not making many super rich, greed will intervine as has happen now and in many places the sceneroy you describe is in place. also giving more to charity and helping the poor should be more encourage instead of the kafr behaviour pushed by pop culture people, which does zero for society and i belive makes more greed.

This isn't just another statistic to gawk at and bemoan your existence - this is THE UGLY TRUTH about a nation that's been DUPED into having faith in an instrument that does NOTHING but transfer HOARDS of wealth from the naive and trusting masses to the cynical and miserly elite.
Things will NEVER change until people understand exactly HOW they're being screwed. It's not enough to know WHO's screwing you - you need to know HOW they're screwing you!
No matter how often they repeat it - ours will NEVER be a 'free- market', merit-based system - it's an incredibly corrupt system based first and foremost on COMPLETE CONTROL and GREED.
If knowledge is power, then communication is key.
