The sick lies taught to children in America make me sick. If I had children, I would have no choice but to home school them or find a progressive school if they exist. These lies have been taught in schools for decades. Children are also taught very sckewed values in school-that they should value success over being a good person and being kind to others.

The public schools system exists to teach racism and brainwash children into being corporate slaves.

Forget it!
They are busy shopping or watching television.

We're doomed.

"I don't want a nation of thinkers, I want a nation of workers."

And it looks like that is what we have got too! How sad....I agree with you citisucks.

Don't put your children in public schools. It teaches them nothing except social skills, and if the kids are a little different for not having social skills, they are tormented.

I went to college with many people who could barely pay attention to the professor for five minutes. They didn't know how to study, they didn't have any discipline at all. They just wanted to have fun, and complained about the homework.

I don't believe most of college teaches anything either. I've spent most of that time memorizing information instead of understanding it. I think the whole education system needs to be reformed.

Like a former teacher said in a book (the title eludes me now) school teaches kids how to work for the system. It doesn't teach them to think. And we don't need to look far to find that is true.

"sckewed"

If you cannot even spell the most basic of words, you shouldn't be critiquing our education system

what good is it if you can learn how to spell the way they tell you to spell but can't tell the difference between right and wrong?
