On ABC Evening News last night, they had a story on the Christian groups in America supporting Israel because they believe it's a sign that Jesus will soon return. How they're praying for it and supporting what Israel is doing no matter what.
They were at a convention of some sort in DC I believe, complete with a big Israeli flag in the background of the stage. The UN representative from Israel was there as a guest and they asked him flat out, why do you support this? Especially if th bible is true, it will supposedly end badly for Jews who will be forced to convert or be killed. The guy said "the day Jesus returns and poses the question to me, will be when I make my choice. Until then I don't worry about such things". The interviewer went on about how he's still grateful for the support from the evangelical Christians.
I thought that was interesting. In the same way I find how Christians are treated badly by some Jews in Israel. Yet these people continue to support them no matter what. I think the criminals running the Jewish state (who could care less about their own citizens, by the way) are laughing all the way to the bank. Or in this case, virual impunity from war crimes. Thanks to the likes of Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell to name a few.

I am there thinking and wondering What are the forces behind all what is happening in the world from the time of Babylon till now? I don't know if you have seen these pictures, but the time Yasser Arafat was in an hospital in France, this group of jews were praying fo his soul. Rabbi Weiss and Rabbi Micahel Lerner (Tikkun) are the true jews who walk the path of Jesus. To understand them deeply, we have to understand what mystics such as Rumi (Soufi-Muslim) and St John the Cross are sayings. However, they are the minority. The rest of us are stuck in the dual path of good and evil.
Weiss asserts the Torah based view that Jews ought to wait for the Messiah to come and rebuild the Temple and thus Israel. The reemergence of Zion is not supposed to be an endeavor of "man;" doing so, only shows a lack a faith.
So, it's neither here nor there for the Arabs in the Middle East, once the Messiah comes back they are dead ducks.

I don't know if you have seen these pictures, but the time Yasser Arafat was in an hospital in France, this group of jews were praying fo his soul. Rabbi Weiss and Rabbi Micahel Lerner (Tikkun) are the true jews who walk the path of Jesus. To understand them deeply, we have to understand what mystics such as Rumi (Soufi-Muslim) and St John the Cross are sayings. However, they are the minority. The rest of us are stuck in the dual path of good and evil.

Weiss asserts the Torah based view that Jews ought to wait for the Messiah to come and rebuild the Temple and thus Israel. The reemergence of Zion is not supposed to be an endeavor of
"man;" doing so, only shows a lack a faith.
So, it's neither here nor there for the Arabs in the Middle East, once the Messiah comes back they are dead ducks.

What a great interview. It is wonderful to see Israelis and Jews like this rabbi, and others online, and even in Israeli media, even a handful of American-Jewish writers, who have called Israeli Zionazis out for their genocide of Palestinians.
