I am curious why none of the media covers the most important aspect of the Malvo shootings. If you look at Newspapers on the dates when the shootings are underway you discover something quite interesting. The shootings begin the very day the debate on the war starts and completely and totally dominate the news until they catch them shortly after the declaration of war???

If you ask most people "do you remember the debate about starting the second Iraq war", they will all answer "yes of course". But if you followup with the question "name one point in the debate, a speech by a Senator or where their senator stood", nada.

Almost no one noticed any aspect of the most important senate debate in the last 50 years?

An interesting and odd fact... No one has done a story on what the real impact of the shootings were. It was to virtually eliminate the senate war debate from the media.

The special forces background of the senior member of the pair also seems to get short shrift.

Smells a little fishy to me. At a minimum its a very significant part of the story, i.e. that a common murderer had such an impact on our political process at such a critical time. Why is nobody covering this obvious fact?

Also, on Malvo, he was an ILLEGAL ALIEN. Not to switch topics. Anyway, gov'ts use drugs to make men into super-warriors and killing machines. Drugs help clear a conscious. The gov't is responsible for putting brave soldiers into this hellhole Iraq. They did it based on lies. Everything the gov't does is based on lies and propaganda. The gov't allows Ernst Zundel to defend himself for free speech. The gov't forces book outlets to stop stocking books ("America Deceived" by E.A. Blayre III). The gov't enforces 'speech zones'. Wiretaps, 9/11, Katrina... the list is endless. And we still have 2 more years. Ugh.

Maybe the soldiers were on speed and maybe they weren't, but one thing's for sure out of all these types of stories emanating from Iraq and Afghanistan - a lot of these people see us as oppressors and their quality of life is so weak they no longer care if they live or die. We didn't get to know that Vietnam was like that for at least a decade after the fact. It'll probably be the same here with a lot of kids knowing that this war is just a scam and they will ensure that they come home no matter what, even if means shooting first and asking questions later.

I mean, how would you feel if you were National Guard and you saw the job you intended to do not being done for your community after Katrina hit? I know I'd get tired of being used like toilet paper after that.

Easy, they want to come home, file as a Conscientious Objector. If enough of them do it ..they all come home. If the soldiers refuse to fight, it would solve alot of problems. It would asonish the public at home, raising debate on the validity of the current administration and most likely lead to the impeachment of G.W.B if not both he and Cheney. This would then give others in congress the encouragement to begin criminal hearings against the current administration. These events would then bolster our foreign relations with the countries we have oppressed and their allies. This would also cause a quick and violent shake-up in the ranks of the DOD, CIA, and DOHS. Encourage your boys to come home and we could possibly regain control of our country and our future.

Interesting photo of this poor girl. Anyone notice her grotesquely deformed hands? Would that be Photoshop? Or radioactive weapons?

Man. That is not only awful but downright horrifying.

Death to America. Death to me then too. Death first of all, to Israel.
