Ok, GATS mode 4 has had repeated proposals via the WTO to classify "Services" as something to be traded. Little do people realize that those "services are actually people. They are talking about trading people via guest worker programs and they are also going to use WTO trade authority to supersede any nation-state's immigration policy.
This is going to create labor arbitrage to the level of serfdom.
ok, back to the Senate. In Specter amendment, SA 3192, title IV, subtitle A, are the major labor arbitrage guest worker Visas. Specter SA 3192 amends the McCain-Kennedy bill S.2454. They will decimate a series of American workers, most predominately US engineers and computer scientists who have been under attack through outsourcing and general labor arbitrage since 2001.
Dorgan has introduced to the "seemingly dead, but could come back alive" S.2454 bill an amendment, SA 3411 (this is to Specters amendment SA3192) to basically get rid of the entire guest worker arbitrage Visas in the Specter amendment.
Now check out the snake of amendments I just listed just to even discover the labor arbitrage guest worker visas in this legislation.
I am so, so glad you're raising awareness on this plan for currently the labor arbitrage issue or "insourcing" which is the counter to outsourcing issue is getting buried deep with the "race card" mantra.

As usual, our Congress works against us while pretending to work on our behalf.
Ironically I started a title company in NH for some guys and I'll tell you there are going to be a lot of people f*cked up with their mortgages in the coming years. By virtue of not owning anything except a car and a motorcycle I don't have to fear anybody taking anything from me, or losing it.
