Generally, the people on the web are better informed than those off the web. Almost without exception the people I ask on the street think that the Fed is owned by the government.
There are even important differences between readers who visit our blog (and blogs that link to our blog) and readers who visit other blogs that are basically mainstream.
So, these polls only tell us about our readers. And it doesn't say much since only 428 of them responded. But, nevertheless, it is entertaining!
