I was really upset about Hackett as well.

That said...he honestly didn't have enough money, and you know politics has become one big money game.

I guess if you wanna get into the ol' boys club ya gotta play the ol' boys game. Quid pro quo. Party leadership won't buck the system that supports them. They are the establishment...both parties. The entrenchment is too severe. I fear it'll require some sort of trauma to the system to shake loose the elite's grip on power.
