The Wall Strret Journal reports that 'AT&T lowered its revenue outlook for the year, pointing to fewer-than-expected sign-ups for its no-contract Next wireless plans that require customers to pay full price for their smartphones'. Apparently we've become a nation of sheep that believe wireless jail terms are better than buying phones at market prices in a free market economy. Sorry @LarryKudlow, but the carriers may have altered the American retail spirit irreparably. But hope springs eternal. I predict that customers will gladly migrate from the store greeting "Let me see if you qualify for a phone" to "Welcome to AT&T. Can I sell you a phone today?" Come on folks. Where's your Capitalist spirit? Give it a try.
