...and don't we live in the age of the internet? AKA the World Wide Web? And don't most of our 100 million households have access to broadcast, cable, satellite or broadband?
So why would CBS, the otherwise visionary and ratings reigning television network, delay the broadcast of music's greatest event? It is a short sighted effort to protect their prime time turf. This makes CBS executives look like cave dwelling dinosaur herdsmen. Wouldn't we all like to see The Grammys live?
The day has come, as our friends @NBC have recognized, where live events should be broadcast live. And if that means tying up six hours of air time, so be it. Americans are used to real time data, and we live in five time zones. Please be fair to all of us. It is time for the @FCC to hold #FCC hearings on this out of date practice.
