Lured to your cellular plan by a "free" camera phone? or unlimited nighttime minutes?
Take a close look at your contract, or your next bill, and see what those freebies are really costing you. Chances are you're not awake for very long during your carrier's definition of nighttime. There's also a good possibility that they are charging you for features that are either free on their competitors' plans, or should be.
Are you being charged for forwarded calls? That's a line item that is almost as extinct as the dinosaurs, but Sprint, as an example, charges $.20/minute for forwarded calls - up from $.10/minute. Did you ever stop to wonder what the cost is of forwarding your call? It's close to nothing, as it is just another call from your number. And don't forget that each forwarded minute is charged to your monthly allowance. So, why does a forwarded minute double in value?
