We think UPS is just a drop off service - as in drop a package off anywhere. Packages are turning up on top of people's mailboxes instead of at their front door. In many cases, mailboxes are far from a home's doorsteps and are subject to rain, snow, wind and mud.
Why is this so outrageous? If you wanted to walk to your mailbox, you would have shipped via USPS. When you pay UPS rates, you're entitled to get package delivery at your front door.

Broadcast news stations are making much of packages being stolen during the holiday season, and UPS is not helping the situation with this behavior. Another problem is UPS drivers placing packages in mailboxes - which are exclusively reserved for use by the USPS and no others.

Keep a close watch on UPS' performance and hold them accountable for their blunders.
