Great report. I love Fez and its people and visit often. The one problem I have is that the food in Moroccan restaurants is the same in every restaurant. Tradition seems to get in the way of trying new things. They should serve some of the wonderful street food in their restaurants then dining out would be far more interesting.

Al Jazeera has an interesting video that concentrates on Fez and its great food. Called the 'soul of Morocco', Fez is the world's most authentic Islamic medieval city and is said to be the home of Moroccan cuisine.
