How does India benefit from this?
India did not create Taliban. India has no commercial interests in Afghanistan. On the other hand China has invested 3 billion dollars in the Aynar mines, and would greatly benefit from the security provided by the US troops.

Great article, and great post, Mr. Lee/ China Hand. What fallout do you see from China's involvement in Kashmir? Do you think it is plausible that India will retaliate by providing/increasing support for the Uighurs, for example?
Also, keeping the Uighurs in mind once again, would China not be creating further problems for itself down the road by promoting fundamentalist Islam in neighbouring Afghanistan?
It would be funny if it were not so tragic that we could end up in a world where China and India both battle their domestic Muslim fundamentalist problems while supporting the same stripe of vermin against the other. 'Theirs' and 'Ours' Jihadists. Which I guess is what Pakistan is implementing with their Good Taliban/Bad Taliban strategy.
