Good show again. Useful info. Nice to include the geek/tech element too. GPS receivers are not created equal. Newer ones are improving. I have a better one than the wife, tracks more satellites, and locks quicker, can get signal indoors decently. Software is separate. So it could easily have been the GPS receiver that was having trouble with seeing the satellites, and not the s/w. We have 'Burnout 3' for Xbox, brilliant game. Looking forward to 'Burnout Revenge', sounds great. Have to remember not to confuse game with reality when actually driving :-).
Just got 'We (heart) Katamari' for PS2, brilliant game. Anyone seen it in the UK yet? Or the original 'Katamari Damacy'?

You've actually got me to change my thinking from "what could 'I' possibly use a pda for?" to thinking "eh, that gadget could ACTUALLY be useful."...i will stop bagging out my male friends for taking them out when we go drinking/play pool from now on.
Oh and its good to see Jon is getting increasingly more educated on uses of gadgets and the wonders of technology. ;-)
My Airzooka was waiting for me this morning when I got to work. The Goods In guy had opened the box and resealed it empty though, but I've slyly assembled it under my desk, so I'll get my revenge. *evil laugh*
it was wobbling around that mark for a while, is that the feedburner count? if so, my new podcast allready has 15 for some reason, and ive done very little advertising....

I can't live without Vindigo on my Treo. It's US-centric (yet also includes London [?]), and it links me to restaurants, bars, shops, and movie theaters with reviews, phone numbers, maps, directions, and show times.
And the backlight also doubles as a flashlight while walking the dog at night or, at work, when the power goes out in a windowless room. Low-tech, but important! -LEM

And one that does online appointment setting through your smart phone, contact management, email and you can work on your MS office documents too. diarypoint is new generation of mobile computing. It really is the 'office in your pocket'

My PDA is an original black and white Sony Clie.
I need another one. I'd actually like to look at the MDA as well, what's the difference?
ah...and I'm not into games! Quite lik ethe idea of a mini TV though - that sounds great!
