Desmume is practically dead. It's been slowing down little by little all the time for the last year.

Taking a close look at the code I can tell they've ran into various issues that they are not sure they can fix, and yes Desmume is practically dead. However, it is open source so ANYONE can take over and continue the project. I'm shocked that someone hasn't already.

[Image]DeSmuME SVN r4121 is released. DeSmuME is an open source Nintendo DS(NDS) emulator for Linux, Mac OS and Windows. DeSmuME supports save states, the ability to increase the size of the screen and it supports filters to improve image quality. DeSmuME also supports microphone use on Windows and Linux ports, as well as direct video and audio recording. The emulator also features a built-in movie recorder.
DeSmuME SVN Changelog: r4121 - Allows the NDS input system to work on big-endian processors.
