Anyone else reminded of Dead Man Stomp, which is one of the included adventures in recent editions of Call of Cthulhu?
It too features a horn with similar animative properties. A Trumpet of Animate Dead is a pretty damn cool magic item; in fact, I think I know just where one will fit in my work-in-progress...
As a quick break from work I popped over here. The funny thing is we in the bookstore are listening to the Whipped Cream & Other Delights album as I'm typing this!

[Image] I am a strange bird sometimes. A few weeks back I was listening to Herb Alpert's "Rise" from his "Definitive Hits" CD (but here is the YT link) and I got this silly inspiration to have him drawn raising the dead with his music. Yeah. So I handed it off to ATOM and now here it is. Bloody well done, ATOM, old chap! Yeah, like I said, sometimes I am strange, but it did inspire me on another blog entry I will be making soon.

Not bad!
Though how about: H. A. and the Tartarus Bunch (or, ays, 'Bones')?
