I always have great fun listening to others blabber in the library break room. I do, however, make it a point to never get involved even if I agree.

...or if you work in a state library where we regularly get messages (during campaign season ... which is pretty much always) telling us what we can and can't say about politics. It's so confusing that free speech it pretty much squelched out of fear of doing something illegal. And then the whispering campaign starts against the bureaucrats in charge, no matter which party appointed them.

It's worse when it involves patrons pushing their political opinions onto you...and you can't say a word, even if you strongly disagree.

I am sure if it was framed as a bake-off / taste test between Red Raspberry and Blueberries desserts, ice creams, yogurts or cupcakes, then we would have good participation by most of the employees in the contest of the Red versus the Blue!
