Ah--that explains a lot about one of my coworkers. I hadn't realized he was following a strategy, rather than just wallowing in lethargy.

Usually a couple of hours "on break" and it might be a cause for concern among coworkers. Just watch out for extended, really long breaks.....the library police do apprehend.
