About Me

The fantastic thing about food is that it is a deliciously critical social commentary about any given place. Food is art created from nature's palette, like great architecture often of minuscule proportions. Variations in food are derived from history rich in exotic ingredients, invaluable nutrients and exciting with flavors from continent to continent, era to era. Finally and foremost, it is (or shoud be) a labor of love. Food is culture in edible form. How else can one soak in the diversity of our world in literally just one bite if it weren't for food? Some people say they eat to live, but I live to eat. I am experiencing life with all six senses, one meal at a time.
