About Me

Idrees and I met online at www.matrimony.org It is a wonderful site for marriage-minded Muslims. We are happily married and living in India while awaiting his immigration clearance to the US. I have two wonderful sons, Zachary (13) and Alexander (9), whom I miss very much. Idrees is really excited to be a step-father and cannot wait to meet all of my family.

Interests

• We have many interests. Memorizing
• reading
• and reciting Qur'an
• traveling
• photography
• spending time with friends and family
• and spending time together
• building a strong family and working on our Islam (submission to the will of Allah). Individually
• I enjoy cooking and camping and Idrees loves to be outdoors and being active as well.

Favorite Music

• We both enjoy Sami Yusuf
• a Muslim revert who does beautiful and uplifting Islamic songs. I also enjoy listening to Soldiers of Allah and we enjoy alot secular music as well.

Favorite Books

• books! I love to read as does Idrees. So much so that to make a list of favorites would be unfair to all the others I have loved. :-)
