P. Scott Vallely

About Me

As the co-founder of Paper.com, Mr. Vallely manages the operations of the company and sets overall direction as well as manages vendor relationships to execute against his marketing strategies. This is a website with nearly 40,000 SKUs of paper and 57 warehouses throughout the USA. Mr. Vallely has over thirty years of experience as an executive in the pulp, paper and distribution industry. He also manages Coy Paper Company which is a consulting and distribution company for major paper producers. Before Paper.com LLC he was Managing Director of A. T. Clayton & Co. Inc. and a founder and officer of the corporation. Clayton is one of the world’s largest paper distributors. He spent much of his time on both operations and business development, with paper grades marketed into specialty, niche segments as well as commodity paper end users. During his tenure, Clayton’s sales grew from $86 to $340 Million. Prior to A. T. Clayton, Mr. Vallely served in many marketing and sales capacities for Champion International Corporation (now part of International Paper). He has spent his whole career in the Pulp and Paper industry. He authors the popular Paper Industry News BLOG.
