Your bow is not broken but you've run out of arrows. How can you fake being a bard?
What self-respecting archer loses all her arrows and then tries to sing her way out of it? If I were me, I'd scrap the bardic nonsense and go retrieve my arrows. And then I'd slink away into the forest because if I'd run out of arrows, I must be a worse shot than I thought - making me bard fodder, no thank you!
